Frog Madam

After infesting the yard with these things:

Pretty front yard scene or scene of frog love frenzy?

Only less pretty and photogenic and far away.

According to the information page on Bromeliaceae at clarku.edu:
"Many frogs and insects lay their eggs in the pools of bromeliads, and other, smaller organisms spend their entire lives in pools, making them functioning ecosystems." 

This is really quite cool; a self contained universe in a beautiful cup.  I LOVE learning new things.  But I can learn from books, people - no need for hands on!

Kermit can suck it

Whilst planting bromeliad under the fishtail palms, I got jumped.  By a frog.
